Learning Objectives

Following the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Discuss the current guidelines on risk stratification and management of both non-muscle invasive and muscle invasive Bladder Cancer.
• Determine optimal minimally invasive surgical therapy (MIST) of BPH options for the individual patient
• Describe various products and options for the management of stress urinary incontinence and overactive bladder.
• Examine the impact of translational research in Urologic conditions and current gaps in knowledge.
• Identify the treatment options available for SRM such as partial nephrectomy, ablative therapies, and active surveillance. Discuss the follow-up required for each treatment option.
• Describe the impact of various stone and patient factors on selection of surgical modality and treatment of patients with kidney stones.
• Identify various products and options for the management of stress urinary incontinence including artificial urinary sphincters, male urethral slings, and adjustable continence devices.
• Describe the capabilities for minimally invasive surgical platforms for the treatment of urethral and ureteral stricture disease, urinary fistulae, and other complex urinary abnormalities.
