Advanced practitioners in the fields of urology, urogynecology, and genitourinary oncology.
Learning Objectives
Following the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the current guidelines on risk stratification and management of both non-muscle invasive and muscle invasive Bladder Cancer.
- Determine optimal minimally invasive surgical therapy (MIST) of BPH options for the individual patient
- Describe various products and options for the management of stress urinary incontinence and overactive bladder.
- Examine the impact of translational research in Urologic conditions and current gaps in knowledge.
- Identify the treatment options available for SRM such as partial nephrectomy, ablative therapies, and active surveillance. Discuss the follow-up required for each treatment option.
- Describe the impact of various stone and patient factors on selection of surgical modality and treatment of patients with kidney stones.
- Identify various products and options for the management of stress urinary incontinence including artificial urinary sphincters, male urethral slings, and adjustable continence devices.
- Describe the capabilities for minimally invasive surgical platforms for the treatment of urethral and ureteral stricture disease, urinary fistulae, and other complex urinary abnormalities.
